Amy Jones
Amy Jones works at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital for the past decade as the movement disorder clinic nurse, but has been working in neurology since 2004. she currently coordinates the apomorphine, duodopa and deep brain stimulation service at the RBWH. And is experienced at titrating patient on all three therapies. In 2017 she completed her masters in acute care nursing with a high distinction.
Lauren Roberts
Lauren is an Accredited Practising Dietitian currently working in neurosciences, general medical and rehabilitation at Mater Hospital South Brisbane. Lauren has a passion for gut health and when not immersing herself in all things nutrition, can be found cooking, adventuring or reading.
Dr Leander Mitchell
Dr Leander Mitchell is a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist whose focus in terms of both clinical practice and research is older adults. Her PhD reflected on the topic of wisdom in older adults and her other research areas include downsizing, working with people with dementia, and interventions for people with such diagnoses as Parkinson’s disease.
Luiseach Walsh
Luiseach qualified with MSc. in Physiotherapy in 2015 and has been working with the Parkinsons population in Brisbane for almost 4 years now.
She is a PD Warrior for Parkinsons advocate and trainer. Luiseach's goal is to educate and train the Parkinsons community on the importance of specific neuro active exercise to fight disease progression.
Kirsten Freeman
Over the last year she has tailored her continuing education to further her knowledge in exercise prescription and supporting people living with Parkinson’s disease. She has completed training through the Brian Grant Foundation and with PD Warriors and is a certified Level 1 K.O.P.D Boxing Instructor.
